I have kind of a strange request.
What kinds of fun, healthy (or unhealthy) foods did you all eat as kids? I'm talking stuff like s'mores, ants on a log - stuff like that. "Interactive" foodstuffs?
I'm trying to brainstorm some of these things for a project at work (lol the things I get to do with my degree) and I didn't eat too many of those kinds of fun foods as a kid, so I'm having worlds of issues thinking of them and Google only takes me so far.
ETA: In my Google-searchings for stuff, I found this.
"This" is a giant slushie made from ice pops. You know. The ones that come in those little plastic tubes that cut your mouth but that you loved as a kid?
BRB BUYING ALL THE ICE POPS.

Date: 2012-04-09 07:09 pm (UTC)There was another one around Halloween, I don't really know if it has a "proper" name, but basically it was like two apple slices with peanut butter in the middle and candy corn stuck in the peanut butter to make like vampire fangs and monster teeth.
I'm not sure if this counts, but there were always cereal bracelets and jewelry out of Fruit Loops and such.
Oh, oh! Octopus hotdogs. Cut the end of the hot dog into eight slices for legs. Have a picture: http://0.tqn.com/d/homecooking/1/5/9/9/1/hotdogoctopus5.jpg
